As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team the DEI team ensure we are able to support our colleagues to reach their full potential. We’re looking for an administrator to join this team for a fixed term period of a year, on a full-time basis (however we can also consider applicants who would be interested in this as a job-share opportunity). 

What does the role involve?
This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your administration and project coordination skills whilst being involved in a variety of exciting initiatives across the firm.

You’ll work with our DEI Business Partner to: 

  • Help plan and deliver both internal and external DEI events and initiatives. 
  • Create and update content on our DEI intranet hub. 
  • Work with our Network Groups, Internal Communications Business Partner and Learning & Development team to plan and schedule internal events and DEI communications. 
  • Coordinate content submissions for our quarterly DEI newsletter.
  • Keep updated with events from our DEI partnership organisations and support with the promotion of these across the firm. 
  • Support with the coordination of key DEI Project Meetings – including scheduling diary appointments for DEI meetings, providing agendas, taking minutes and managing an actions log. 
  • Work with our analytics team to request and analyse DEI data. 
  • Own and administer our DEI enquiries inbox, answering questions from across the firm. 
  • Support our DEI Business Partner to track budget spend throughout the year. 

To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will be: 

  • Be able to showcase some administration or project-coordination experience gained within a relevant role, placement or similar internship/work experience programme
  • Empathetic, with the ability to channel your enthusiasm and curiosity to better understand the lived experiences of others.  
  • Possess strong attention to detail, as well as excellent organisational and task prioritisation skills
  • Energised by working on a variety of tasks and projects, often simultaneously. 
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with a variety of people. 
  • Motivated and likes using own initiative to problem solve.
  • Experienced in working with Microsoft 365 software, in particular the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or similar programmes)

This role will be based in our Glasgow Office. We offer hybrid working so you can enjoy the positive wellbeing of working from home as well as the benefits of meeting colleagues in our sociable, modern office environments – with the expectation of two ‘in-office’ days per week.  Our flexible working window is between the hours of 7am and 7pm, with the expectation of two ‘in-office’ days per week.
